BLUE METROPOLIS FIRST PEOPLE PRIZE TO TANYA TALAGA

The Canadian Anishinaabe journalist and author Tanya Talaga is awarded the Blue Metropolis 2024 First Peoples Prize, for the whole of her work. This prize is awarded to an Indigenous writer whose literary work makes a significant contribution to both Indigenous culture and literary culture, and which helps non-Indigenous people to better understand the experiences of Indigenous people.
